Easy, ready to eat in 20 minutes
I’ll always remember this sweet treat from my first trip to Sweden as a little girl. Also known as "plättar" or "rårakor", Swedish Pancakes are thin, crepe-like pancakes served with sweet toppings like jam, berries, and powdered sugar. Everything a Scandinavian breakfast should be!
Ingrédients
- 2 large eggs
- 250ml milk
- 50g all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- Pinch of salt
- Butter or oil for greasing the pan
- Jam, berries, and powdered sugar for serving
Méthode
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour, sugar, and salt, whisking continuously until the batter becomes smooth.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan or crepe pan over medium heat. Grease it lightly with butter or oil.
- Pour a small amount of batter (about 2 tablespoons) into the pan, swirling it around to form a thin pancake.
- Cook the pancake for about 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly golden.
- Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
- Serve the Swedish Pancakes with your choice of sweet toppings such as jam, berries, or powdered sugar.
